Where and how to use
As we have already mentioned, MamaBalm has many uses. These are just some of our favourites. Please let us know if you have any more! As a general guide, massage the balm into areas in need of MamaBare TLC.

Face
- Moisturiser – Apply a small amount into the face as needed. Makes a good primer for make up as well as an excellent overnight facial treatment.
- Cleanser – Massage a small amount into skin and then remove with a warm, damp facial cloth. Don’t forget to take a few deep breaths to allow those aromatherapy oils to work their magic! Mix with our Exfoliating Blend to create a gentle face scrub.
- Nourishing Face Mask – Apply to the face after cleansing, cover with a warm, damp cloth and leave for 10-15 minutes. As with the cleanser, take several deep breaths in and out, allowing the essential oils to calm and uplift your senses. Rinse off.
- Target dry patches – soothe symptoms of eczema and dermatitis. Massage into very dry patches to soothe and soften the skin.
- Spots and breakouts – apply a small amount to affected areas after cleansing to reduce redness and speed up healing process.
- Lip Balm – Apply a small amount to lips for a beautiful smile.
- Brow Tamer – Massage a small amount to smooth and keep stray hairs in place.
- Scars – Help improve their appearance and soothe any tightness or itching by keeping them moisturised. *Only apply once the scar is fully healed.
- Beard Balm – Apply a small amount to keep that beard looking as well-groomed as you!
- Highlighter – Sweep a small amount across cheekbones to give your face definition and a healthy glow. Give yourself a little kiss and a smile in the mirror for added happiness.
Hands
- Moisturiser – Apply as needed for a protective hand balm.
- Overnight Hand Treatment – Massage into hands and wear cotton gloves to bed and wake up with soft, soothed hands.
- Cleanser – can help remove stains on hands such as ink or fake tan, especially if combined with our Exfoliating Blend. Massage in a small amount and remove with a damp cloth.
- Cuticle softener – Massage into nails and cuticles for strong, healthy nails and nourished cuticles.
- Cracked, painful hands – Massage into sore hands, knuckles, and fingers for an intensive treatment to help soothe and repair.


Body
- Target dry areas such as knees and elbows – Massage into very dry patches to soothe and soften skin.
- Scars and Stretch marks – Help improve their appearance and soothe any tightness or itching by keeping them moisturised. *Only apply once the scar is fully healed.
- Foot Treatment – Massage into feet, paying particular attention to cracked heels, wear soft cotton socks and leave on overnight for a nourishing foot mask.
- Rashes such as heat rash – Apply as needed to help reduce redness and itching.
- Eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis – Massage into skin to help soothe and soften.
Other Uses
- Hair Tamer – Massage a small amount in palms of hands or fingertips to smooth and hold stray hairs in place.
- Hair Protector – Massage onto hair before swimming to protect from sea salt or chlorine. To remove, apply shampoo and massage thoroughly into hair before rinsing.
- Sun Burn/ Burns – Apply to affected areas to soothe the skin. *Always seek medical advice for serious burns or sun damage. We do not recommend you apply to an open wound.
- Insect Bites and Stings – Apply a small amount to help reduce itching, redness and swelling and soothe the skin.
